A typical haunt that takes you through a few original creations as well as some more iconic movie recreations.
Being a permanent attraction Pasaje definitely has the advantage over Halloween haunts, everything is much more detailed and feels solid – no MDF looking sets here! You get the feeling that this maze has been fine-tuned after years of operating and offers an experience that is well worth the asking price.
What was good here was that it was way more than a ‘boo’ maze. The Exorcist room was extremely entertaining for us, watching the rest of our group lose their minds when the girl that they assumed was fixed to the moving bed suddenly broke free and started to chase the group around the room. The Halloween section was also a standout – the set very much felt like being in the hospital from Halloween II and they also referenced Michael’s ability to ‘teleport’ in those movies – with the actor suddenly appearing out of nowhere. Some thought had gone into these scenes – rather than someone constantly jumping out of the darkness at you, each scene tried to get the scare a different way.
If we’re being picky here – it would’ve been good if it was longer or was made up of multiple, single-themed mazes but then that’s because we’re used to multi-attraction events! Considering it is just the one maze, it isn’t really worth travelling any great distance for but if you happen to be anywhere near it, give it a go!
Pasaje Del Terror (2016)
This is a solid horror attraction. If you’re a hardcore fan it might not be too scary for you but it’s still a well themed and lively attraction that’s worth checking out if you happen to be nearby.
